Description

Job Title: Enterprise Architect

As a leading provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team.

Reporting directly to the CTO you will own the technical vision of the Kallidus solution set from an architectural perspective. Working with the senior product and technical managers, you will:

  • Be responsible for the technical integration strategy of the product suite.
  • Help develop a “big data” solution across our products.
  • Define both the internal and external technical API strategy.
  • Work with our newly formed AI team to determine how value can be added to existing product set through the application of contemporary technologies.

As the principal architect at Kallidus, you will play a central role in designing and implementing strategic, end-to-end architectural solutions that align with the business objectives of our customers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will provide technical leadership and expertise throughout the product lifecycle.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, SaaS technologies, and a problem-solving mindset, coupled with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate must have previously come from a Software Development background but be able to demonstrate a substantial understanding of both infrastructure and contemporary DevOps technologies. This is not a people management position, but experience of directing developers is useful.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Architecture Design:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand enterprise-level business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive architectural solutions.
  • Develop and document high-level and detailed designs for our SaaS solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
  1. Technology Evaluation and Roadmap:
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools, providing recommendations based on their strategic fit for specific projects and long-term business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps to guide the evolution of enterprise architecture.
  1. Enterprise-wide Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring the alignment of projects with the overarching enterprise architecture.
  • Collaborate with product, developers, and other stakeholders to drive successful outcomes at the enterprise level.
  • Ensuring non-functional requirements are defined and adhered to.

 

  1. Security and Compliance Oversight:
  • Ensure that all technical solutions adhere to enterprise-wide security and compliance standards, mitigating potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain robust security measures across the enterprise architecture.
  1. Quality Assurance and Governance:
  • Define and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of technical solutions.
  • Establish and enforce governance processes to maintain the integrity of the enterprise architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role in a complex business environment.
  • Expertise working in a dynamic SME environment.
  • Excellent understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
