The Services Consultant role supports our growing customer base with implementing our product suite by providing on-site and remote consultancy services, alongside carrying out customer requested changes.  A key aspect of the role will be to develop trusted-advisor relationships with our customers, alongside providing expert advice that supports customers’ key business decisions which help the development of the overall strategy and accelerate adoption of best practice. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Understand, interpret and document customer requirements and how they will be met by the Kallidus product suite.
  • Undertake implementation services on all aspects of the products within the Kallidus Suite and deliver associated activities such as workshops, coaching and training.
  • Working independently or with a project manager, be involved in all project processes from sales handover through to support handover for new implementations and upgrades.
  • Maintain appropriate project documentation including dashboard and project plan and where necessary, change control documents. 
  • Work closely with the Support, Sales, Product and Development teams to avoid, mitigate or resolve project risks/issues.
  • Use expertise to provide best practice and strategic advice to customers to drive consistent improvement to their processes and programmes.
  • Be prepared to “challenge” customer requirements to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to, understand and where relevant help improve, all relevant Kallidus ISO processes and project documentation.
  • Understand the Learning Technologies marketplace and keep abreast of industry trends.
  • Maintain knowledge of and champion the Kallidus Suite, supporting colleagues as required.  
  • Understand and demonstrate the Kallidus company values with colleagues and customer.
  • Occasional travel required for onsite customer presales and implementation.  
  • Attendance required at quarterly team meetings in Bristol or London 

Required Skills, Experience and Behaviours 

  • In-depth experience with Learning and Development/Performance Technology solutions within the HR/L&D space 
  • Demonstrable, successful track record in delivering technology and consultancy services projects, with experience of supporting customers in a professional services role.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent IT skills (all Microsoft Office packages).
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Must have a ‘can do’ attitude with hands on approach.
  • Be professional, organised and independent.
  • The ability to work to strict deadlines, work effectively under pressure, handle conflict and escalate when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills

Desirable

  • Basic understanding of API technology
  • Experience of using PowerBI or similar data analytics tools
  • Use of AI tools like Claude to enhance work efficiency
