Location: Remote (UK) / Bristol
Salary: £35,000/year
Reporting to: Global Accounts Receivable Manager
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Great with numbers, even better with people? Come and keep our cash flowing.
At Kallidus, we accelerate the way you build compliant, skilled, and high-performing teams. Our subscription business is growing, and we’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to help turn every sale into cash, on time and accurately.
Reporting to our Global Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll support the full opportunity-to-cash cycle across the Kallidus Group of Companies. From raising the first invoice to resolving the trickiest dispute, you’ll be the person who keeps our customer accounts accurate and our ledger in great shape.
What you’ll do
- Raise accurate, timely invoices for every type of sale: new business, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, professional services and bespoke work
- Run recurring and one-off billing in Sage Intacct, including prorations, co-terming and mid-term amendments
- Own a portfolio of customer accounts and manage collections from friendly reminder to escalation
- Work with Customer Success, Account Managers and Legal to resolve overdue balances and at-risk accounts
- Allocate and reconcile payments from bank transfer, card, direct debit and payment gateways
- Be the go-to contact for billing queries, and get to the root cause of any disputes
- Support month-end close, weekly cash forecasting and the annual audit
- Keep Salesforce, Sage Intacct and YayPay in sync, and help us keep our AR processes clear and well documented
What you’ll bring
- Experience running the accounts receivable sub-ledger, ideally in a SaaS business
- 2–3 years of collections experience
- A working knowledge of subscription billing: ARR, renewals, proration, co-terming and deferred revenue
- A good grasp of general accounting, including double-entry and VAT
- Hands-on Salesforce experience
- Sage Intacct experience (1–2 years would be ideal)
- Strong written and verbal communication, and a real eye for detail
You’ll thrive here if you’re
- Organised and flexible, and comfortable juggling changing priorities
- Pragmatic and logical when solving problems
- Proactive and self-motivated, but also a friendly, approachable team player
- Keen to keep learning new skills
- Someone with unquestionable integrity
